Our Story

Lilith Film Collective was founded by Emily Sinnott Ramraz with a singular vision: to illuminate the intimate, often untold stories of women across the globe. Born in Utica, New York to a multicultural family, Emily’s life has been shaped by a rich tapestry of cultural experiences. From the Americas to Asia, the Middle East to Africa, and across both Eastern and Western Europe, her journey has been one of deep immersion in the lives, languages, and landscapes of others.

As a first-generation American, a lifelong traveler, and an immigrant herself, Emily carries within her a profound understanding of both difference and unity. Her films are rooted in the belief that while customs and contexts may vary, the human spirit is universally moved by the same desires—for connection, for love, for belonging.

Through Lilith Film Collective, she brings these shared truths to the screen—poetic, visceral, and resonant. The stories she tells transcend borders, speaking to what it means to be human.
